The
2011 season is over. We will be updating you when peaches begin around the fourth of July in 2012. We wish all of you a good
fall for 2011. Remember Philppians 4:13.

Last year's peaches approaching ripening.
Below are pictures of the two types
of muscadines we have.
The top is a dark muscadine.
The bottom
is a bronze muscadine,
or
commonly called a scuppernong.

Muscadines are available from approximately Labor
Day until the end of September.
- Muscadines come in both bronze (green, usually called Scuppernongs) and black varieties.
Black muscadines are high in anti-oxidants!
- These grapes have historically grown wild in the North Carolina Piedmont
area.
- There are tricks to getting muscadines and scuppernongs to bear good fruit. We know these tricks!
Since
our entire well-being is tied to the weather, please check out The Weather Channel to see our local conditions and forecast.

For the past two years Dr. Mike Parker of NCSU has held a pruning demo here.
This year he demonstrated how to select where to start pruning.
Thank you God for all the blessings you've grown in
our dirt this year!!!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your
ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.
